HOW FAR IS THE HOUSE FROM THE MAIN TOWN?
Byron Beachhouse is just a 5 minute drive, or 15 minutes by bike ride to the centre of Byron Bay. There are also buses available - you can find out more about public transport routes at Going Places www.goingplaces.org.au/regions/byron-shire/suffolk-park/
WHAT IS THE CLOSEST AIRPORT?
Ballina airport is the closest and most convenient, only a 20 minute drive, with shuttle buses and public transport also available. You can also get to Byron Bay from Coolangatta airport (Gold Coast), Brisbane airport and Lismore, with regular shuttle buses www.byronbayshuttle.com.au available
WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK-IN OR CHECK-OUT?
Check-in time is 3:00PM, and check-out is by 10:30AM. If you have special requirements for checking in or out, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to cater for this.
HOW CLOSE ARE WE TO THE BEACH?
Tallow Beach is just moments stroll away. Step out the front door and you will be on the beach within two minutes walk.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?
Each bedroom is fitted with comfy sheets & blankets, and there are plenty of fresh towels available. Please bring your own beach towels. You will find the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a home-cooked meal, and there is a laundry with a washing-machine available for your clothes.
CAN WE FISH ON THE BEACH?
With its sand bar, Tallow Beach is a great spot for fishing. Please note, you must carry a recreational fishing license at all times while fishing in New South Wales. More Information.
IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE FOR MY CAR?
Yes, there is plenty of untimed on-street parking right outside the house, so you will have no problems finding a spot with your cars.
